49 Artists create Soundtacks

for 49 Locations of the Ruhr Region

April 2016 to March 2017

TRUCK TRACKS RUHR

A Concept by Rimini Protokoll

The centerpiece of Truck Tracks Ruhr is a truck that changes our view of the Ruhr Region. The truck has been turned into a huge theater and on the one side outfitted with a huge window that frames the view outside. 49 artists treat 49 locations and focus the gaze of the spectator on striking, unknown, animated, or remote points of the Ruhr region.

From April 2016 to March 2017, the truck will be underway in seven cities. In each city, seven places will be targeted and released as an album. Every seven weeks a new region will be presented to the public, with seven new places, new tracks.
